About Us1st Radnage Scouts is a registered charity accountable to the Chiltern Vale District Scout Council. It was founded in 1962 with the formation of a Scout Group. A Cub Pack was added in 1970 and a Beaver Colony in 1986. We are an 80 strong group of young people and adult volunteers based at a greenfield headquarters site known as Elbow Napp in Radnage. Its location is shown on the map on the Links page. Our headquarters comprises a number of terrapin type buildings on the half acre site which provide very well for a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for all age groups and for the storage of equipment. The Group is an autonomous organisation holding its own property and equipment and admitting young people to membership of the Scout Group subject to the policy and rules of The Scout Association documented on the Scoutbase Web site. The Scout Group is led by a Group Scout Leader and managed by a Group Executive Committee. The Group Scout Leader is assisted and supported by a number of adult volunteers acting as Section Leaders, Assistant Section Leaders and Administrators all of whom have had training in child protection and welfare and are able to deliver a balanced programme for young people within the Group.
